TradeProof AI ("we," "us," or "TradeProof AI") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the TradeProof AI mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plaintext passwords). You may optionally provide a bio and trading focus preferences.
User-generated content
We collect content you post, including trade setups (pair, direction, entry, targets, stop loss, thesis, timeframe), comments, upvotes, and chart screenshot attachments.
Wallet addresses
If you choose to use position verification, we store the public wallet addresses you provide. These addresses are already publicly visible on their respective blockchains. We never collect or store private keys, seed phrases, exchange API keys, or exchange login credentials.
Automatically collected information
We automatically collect device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, and general usage analytics (screens viewed, features used). We use this data to improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Calculate and display credibility scores based on setup outcomes
- Verify position holdings via public blockchain data (if you opt in)
- Send you service-related notifications (setup resolutions, comments, circle activity)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
- Respond to support requests
3. Information We Never Collect
TradeProof AI does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Exchange API keys or exchange login credentials
- Private keys or seed phrases
- Bank account or credit card numbers (payments are processed by Apple/Google)
- Social Security numbers or government-issued IDs
- Precise GPS location
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Supabase (database hosting), Apple/Google (payment processing for subscriptions), and analytics tools necessary to operate the Service.
- Public display: Your username, credibility score, setup history, and public profile information are visible to other TradeProof AI users by design — this is core to how the platform works.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory compliance purposes.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. You can do this through:

All deletion requests are processed within 14 days in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
7. Children's Privacy
TradeProof AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, row-level security policies on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tradeproof.ai.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
